Cox FORD GT Slot Car KIT 1:32 Factory Sealed 1965
SOLDFor your pleasure and delight, up for bid is a factory sealed kit that contains a blue Ford GT 1:32 Slot Car and all accessories.
This is a competition car with a super-light Die Cast Magnesium Chassis.
Hi-impact Body precision molded to scale.
Finely detailed Driver and Accessories.
Goodyear type Racing Tires.
Genuine Magnesium Wheels.
Die Cast Magnesium Swinging Arm.
Line Reamed Bearings.
Hi Speed Cox X100 Motor with super-Flex wires.
In researching this kit I came to realize that there is very little information readily available on the Web. I sent one of my pictures to a fellow eBayer who collects slot cars and he was kind enough to email back that this kit can be accurately dated to 1965 because in 1966 Cox replaced the X100 motor with the X150.

Selmer Oboe, Model 1492, Nearly New with Case
SOLDSelmer Oboe with Case
High-impact plastic body, silver-plated key mechanism, basic conservatory system, range to low B (Long bell with resonance hole).
It comes with a double-walled carrying case. A shoulder strap is included.
I bought this beautiful Selmer oboe for Amber when she started the 5th grade in 2000. This is a great oboe for the beginning oboist. It has a very mellow tone and is extremely durable. This is important for playing in the school band where environmental conditions such as temperature and humidity can range widely.
Amber took very good care of this oboe as verified by Jackson Music Store, Inc. (http://www.jacksonmusic.com/). This is the local music store where I purchased the oboe. We kept the horn under a maintenance contract with them and took it by regularly for routine maintenance. I took the oboe by Jackson Music last week and the woodwind repair technician certified in writing that the oboe is in “nearly new condition, it’s in excellent shape”. This certification will be shipped with the oboe.
If your child is just beginning a musical career on the oboe, this will be a wonderful instrument to get them started on.
This oboe will be listed on auction this coming week. I'll post the end time after I list this beautiful instrument.
